Who is responsible for your information?
Winging It Works is responsible for the subscriber and website analytics information described here. You can contact us at hello@wingingitworks.com.
What we collect
If you join the general mailing list or AI Builder waitlist, we collect your email address, the list you selected, where the form appeared, the consent wording and version you agreed to, and timestamps showing subscription or unsubscribe activity.
If you actively accept optional analytics, we collect approved interaction events such as project views, completed reads and guide or retailer clicks. These events use a random browser-session identifier. We do not ask analytics events to carry names, email addresses or free-text personal information.
Our hosting and security providers may process ordinary technical logs needed to deliver and protect the website, such as IP address, browser details and request time.
Why we use it
- To send the updates you requested and operate the separate AI waitlist.
- To keep an audit of consent and honour unsubscribe requests.
- To understand, with your optional analytics consent, which projects and tools are useful.
- To prevent spam, abuse and security incidents.
Marketing email and optional analytics are based on your consent. Necessary site security and service operation rely on our legitimate interests in running a safe, reliable website.
Who processes it
Information is stored using our website hosting and database services. When email delivery is activated, our chosen email delivery provider will process subscriber addresses to deliver and manage those messages. We will update this notice if the provider or purpose changes materially.
We do not sell personal information. If a retailer or external site is linked, that organisation's own privacy notice applies after you leave Winging It Works.
How long we keep it
Active mailing-list data is kept while you remain subscribed. After you unsubscribe, we may keep a minimal suppression and consent record so we can respect that choice and demonstrate compliance. Analytics and rate-limit records are retained only for a proportionate period needed for insight, security and troubleshooting.
Your UK data-protection rights
Depending on the circumstances, you can ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection, and you can withdraw consent at any time. Email us to make a request. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office.
Children
The public content can be viewed by families, but the mailing lists and future account or commerce features are not designed to collect personal information directly from children without appropriate safeguards.
Changes
We will update the date and wording here as the platform adds email providers, accounts, commerce, uploads or community features.
